Jorge (captain) and his wife Anna are wonderful people and we had a fantastic adventure to the Desertas in December 2011. We were VERY blessed to have seen Monk Seals on our visit. A small group of 4 (out of a total population of ~ 30) ventured to the North part of the Island (near the Ranger's Station) to say Hello! We booked the Ventura do Mar Desertas Excursion through Marco of Happy Tours and we were so glad we did! One of the biggest highlights of our trip to Madeira.
